Description
Source Story:
Sustainably sourced, wild caught Australian Gummy Shark (known as flake) – caught off the waters of southern NSW. 🐠 Gummy Sharks are very common and declared ‘least concern’ by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
Furthermore the parts we use are leftover from human consumption and may otherwise be discarded.
The fish is processed by low temperature dehydrating in a factory in North Queensland. Because of the low temperature drying method, the nutrients and Omega oils are retained.
In keeping with the nose-to-tail philosophy, using organs, bones and other parts as dog treats and chews, this ensures that ‘nothing is wasted, and everything is celebrated’.
Sizing/Feeding Guide:
Skin Scrolls measure between 12 – 15cms
A 12cm scroll lasted our medium/large dog more than 2 hours of playful, contented chewing. He seemed to really love that it unrolled so he could flap it around 🤣. Be warned they’re a bit stinky so best fed outside.
For a looooong lasting chew (2-3 months, yes!) check out our Australian Deer Antler Chews.
